A/N: Funny story to this; I found this on my computer and sort of remember writing it but only know I wrote it for a comment!drabble challenge by finding it there. So, yeah. Plus i've fixed it up since then, so it's a little different. Thanks to yetwhoami for giving it a look over!

“This is the last time I will ever listen to you, Jones", said Tom. He scowled at Danny and then gently placed his head on the cool surface of the table that was in between the two of them.

Danny looked down at Tom, torn between defending himself and apologizing profusely. After all, if Tom himself didn't know he suffered from seasickness, then how was Danny meant to know?

But it had been Danny who badgered and pestered Tom to agree to go on the 3-point cruise with him, when Tom himself had been adamant that they spend the day at the hotel, just like Fletch had told them to do. Tom could never say no to Danny’s pleading eyes, and boy, did they plead!

Tom groaned and shuffled in his seat, but kept his head resting on the table. Danny, who was sitting opposite him, leant forward and gently put his hand through Tom's hair. "I'm sorry."

Tom looked up and smiled as best as he could. He knew it wasn't Danny's fault really, he was just the best person to blame right there and then. "S'not your fault."

A few moments of silence passed, and then Danny had an idea. “Tell ya what."

Tom sat back up straight, slowly.

"Hmm?" he replied, not feeling able to say much else without their being vomit-related consequences.

Danny lifted his hand and jerked a finger towards the main passenger deck of the ferry. "We can get off at the next stop, get something for your sickness, and then get the next ferry back."

Tom smiled brightly, despite his growing nausea. "Jones, that’s the best idea you've had all day."

Danny smiled back and nodded, "Yeah, well, I have 'em sometimes."

Tom risked leaning forward to peck him on the cheek, quickly, but the sudden movement caused a strong waive of nausea to hit Tom, causing him to run off out of view to Danny. The very actions of which, reminding him just why he had to come up with such a great idea in the first place.

Yeah! First was Chris (Not Sex Pest Chris, the other one) who, well, he knew Lucie's friend and Lucie was introduced to him and mentioned him to me and it all sounded a little bit familiar, so she brought her friend into an msn conversation with me, and then her friend brought Chris into it. And it was good for a while.

And then in it's usual fashion, things went bad. In their case, it's been superficial. Just rekindling a friendship for the sake of rekindling a friendship from his childhood. Well, more my childhood cos he was 10 when I was 5 and he was 15 when I was 10 and left the GS.

And the there's Sarah. We were good friends in Range, so we're friends via facebook and we message each other every now and again. It's cool.

And I pretty much try and avoid everyone else from Range, the GS and Formby. The GS because, apart from Barry, I've only had bad luck when I've re-met people from there. And Range and Formby because, well, I was pretty much an outcast. The majority didn't give me the time of day back then so I see no point in giving them the time of day now.

If any of you are Sorkin fans at all, you will Love this article:

It talks about how Sports Night and Sorkin's style and how important it was in the 90s. Also mentions West Wing and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. And that, sadly, Sorkin seems to have moved on from TV series. Which is a shame cos he's practically the god of Comedy Dramas. And the Pedeconferencing used in House, ER, CSI and many other shows was Thomas Schlamme's cash cow technique.

...Even though we had it in The Bill all those years ago, first. But he made it famous in America. And he used it in Sport's Night.

Then he used it as a gag-reference used in a few episodes, where characters will be waking-and-talking through the corridors, stop and ask each other where they're walking to, or why didn't they stop before when they went past the cafe or that another person has to keep up if they wanna get out what they want to say before the corridor-meeting finishes. <3

I believe a similar thing was used in House when House and Wilson walk around in a square and House goes back into his office and Wilson "Didn't we just leave your office?" and House says, "I like to walk".

Even though Thomas Schlamme and Aaron Sorkin have never worked on House, Bryan Singer Loves the technique!

This is MAD. It takes 4 hours and 21 minutes to get from LONDON to GLASGOW when it used to take me 5 hours to get from LIVERPOOL to Northampton and reverse.

Now they've changed the journey route and times so that it's only 3 hours.

Even madder is that I want to go on an even longer train journey from London to Anywhere, as long as it takes over 5 hours. Cos 5 hours can pass in a blink!

I feel like Arnold Rimmer.

From age ten and onwards, start standing up for yourself. Trying to fit in won't work and will upset you even more. You're different in every possible way, revel in it instead. Stick to Laura, cos she actually likes you and you don't have to try. If you ever find yourself arguing in the canteen with a crazy brunnette girl, either walk away and talk to someone or slap her first before she slaps you.

And when you have an argument later on in your teens with someone you think is your best friend, don't be afraid to go crazy and say everything you wanted to say. It'll make the argument better and you'll feel better for saying it, because otherwise you'll hate yourself for not saying it. And don't give them any second chances.

Remember, stick with Laura. Don't let anyone's jealousy become a problem and make it clear that you Hate the nickname "Squid".

When things go wonky, which they unfortunately will, don't bottle up and cover yourself under lies. Actually admit that somethings wrong.

And one more thing. For the love of god, don't run out of room 7. You'll know what I mean when the time comes. Don't do or say anything, just sit there and smile. Play it cool like the Chibi you are. You'll find out what Chibi means when you're 13.

And you also might wanna lay off the Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and Dracula: Dead and Loving it quotes in year 7. No one in your year, until year 10, gets them because none of them like good films. Until year 10 when a really cool band sing a song about BttF, that is.
Same goes for Demolitian Man. Specifically, don't ask "What's your boggle?" to William or Mike. It's not worth the hassle. You'll know who they are once you start Range.
